Before anything else, let’s have a music check first. As I write this, DeBarge’s 1985 hit single “Who’s Holding Donna Now” is currently playing to get me in the mood. Big thanks to Spotify. It’s like my account has been upgraded to Premium whenever I use it here on my laptop.
There is no denying that being with the people you grew up with during your adolescent years brings so much happiness to your life even just for a short amount of time. Especially when you don’t see each other often due to the fact that you all live separate lives now. In other words, the reality of life that we always have to face and survive at. Such feeling, the bliss that I am talking about, is exactly what we have experienced 9 days ago when me and some of my friends from high school were all gathered yet again by one of our friends who came home from the US for a vacation.
As promised, here is my entry about the glitz and glamour that took place in the red carpet of this year’s Golden Globe Awards. This may be a week late but whatever, I’ll still be posting it. I have made all the effort of looking for high quality photos of the stars who walked down the red carpet and gave all their best in posing in front of group of photographers.
Something fun and memorable have happened. It was a mini reunion with my high school friends. Although I see some of them every once in a while, this time though, it’s a little different. And it’s something kind of special. Read More
It’s that time of the year again. The awards season will officially kick-off in a few hours starting with the 73rd edition of the Golden Globe Awards. To be hosted for the fourth time by Ricky Gervais, all the best in film and American television of 2015 will be honored by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) and the ceremony will be held at The Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
American Horror Story: Hotel star and one of my celebrity obsessions Matt Bomer is soaking wet in a white Giorgio Armani shirt, while teasing us with his washboard abs, on the cover of the January/February 2016 cover of Men’s Fitness.
Perhaps the best track from her fifth studio album 1989, Taylor Swift perfectly wrote a track that simply stands out from all the songs she has written in the past. Known for her bubblegum, teen pop kind of music, Taylor has decided to try something fresh with her music for her latest album and man, she didn’t disappoint. Most especially in this track. Influenced by the pop music of the 80s, she was able to come up with this song that simply talks about one of the things that hugely affect the relationship of each and every couple, doubt. Read More
As I write this, I’m currently listening to Lady Gaga’s 2010 hit track “Alejandro”to get me going in this post. This will be just a short entry. And without further ado..
Today marks the first day of 365 days that 2016 has. It’s like the first, blank page in a diary or journal that needs to be filled out by writing your resolution for this year. Well, I can say that such thing is not being done anymore. We all make New Year’s resolution and we even promise to ourselves that we will do everything in our power to fulfill it. But in the end, we would fail to do so. Okay, I’m being negative here. Hahaha! Moving on..
So many things have happened the past year that I will forever be thankful for. Guess I would have to make a separate entry about it as this is just a short one. But to give you an idea on what I’m trying to say, it’s all about the blessings that made 2015 a great year not just for me, but for my family as well. I feel so blessed to have them in the journey that I went through the past year. The journey that we all just said goodbye to, 2015. Now this entry is starting to become a long one. Sorry naman!
Cheers to the new beginnings this 2016. May we all have a prosperous New Year ahead of us. Let us always keep the faith and trust the man up there as he knows very well what’s in store for us. Lastly, let love rule our hearts so that there wouldn’t be any room for negativity.
So, that’s it. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
